Borja de Castro, responsable de bróker en Banco BiG, destaca que el Ibex 35 vive un inicio de 2026 excepcional tras superar por primera vez los 18.000 puntos, consolidándose como el índice más alcista de Europa. Su avance cercano al 5% en el año se apoya en la fortaleza del sector financiero y en un entorno macro más favorable.
Aun así, Borja subraya que, aunque puedan darse correcciones puntuales, los indicadores siguen apuntando a que la tendencia alcista podría prolongarse en los próximos meses. La banca mantiene un papel clave en este impulso, mientras que valores industriales, energéticos y de consumo también contribuyen a un mercado más equilibrado y sólido. Con este contexto, el selectivo podría aspirar a niveles próximos a los 19.000–20.000 puntos a lo largo del año.
